How to fix this error that may come up in different ways. Basically the Outlook PST can’t be opened or the inbox folder can’t be accessed or one of your other mailboxes don’t open/expand when you try to see the inbox.
Due to compatibility issues with Windows 10, Office Outlook and Exchange Online we have started to see this issue come up too often. Below is a quick fix to this issue.
Close Outlook
Press CTRL ALT DEL
Open Task Manager
Click on the Performance Tab
Open Resource Monitor at the bottom
Click on the CPU Tab
Click on the Image column title
Look for Outlook and Office click to Run
Right click on them
End Task to all
Wait 1 minute
Open Outlook
Done
This should resolve the issue. If it doesn’t then you’ll need to create a new profile. Do not delete the old profile until you know for sure the new profile has all the info you need. You can do this by going to the Control Panel, View / Large / Small Icons, Mail.
If the issue persists, it may be ideal to reinstall Windows or hire an IT professional to analyze the issue at hand. There are many variables and in order to save time an IT pro will be able to recommend a solution with the quickest positive results.
We hope this resolves your issue, Thank You
